U-Net

PyTorch replication of Ronneberger et al. across four medical datasets, plus a skip-connection ablation.

A clean PyTorch replication of U-Net for biomedical image segmentation, evaluated on ISBI electron microscopy, BUSI ultrasound, MSD Spleen CT, and MSD Hippocampus MRI. Dice scores: 0.864 (ISBI), 0.864 (BUSI), 0.971 (Spleen), 0.909 (Hippocampus). An ablation showed skip connections are critical for small structures — tumor Dice dropped 15.9% without them.
